Common use of Withholding or Cancellation of Funds Clause in Contracts

Withholding or Cancellation of Funds. The County reserves the right to withhold payments until Subrecipient timely delivers reimbursement requests or documents as may be required under this Agreement. Upon completion of the Project, the County may cancel payment of any portion of the Award that the County determines to be surplus. The County shall be relieved of any obligation for payments if funds allocated to the County cease to be available for any cause other than misfeasance of the County itself.
