Common use of Wollongong City Clause in Contracts

Wollongong City. Council management shall acknowledge the key role of the employees positions who hold office within their Union or Professional Association. Management shall recognise representatives in their performance of their combined responsibilities as union officers and employees including the ability of Branch officers and other delegates to attend accredited union training days and the ability of Branch officers to attend Branch meetings and Branch Committee of Management meetings. (Branch officers refers to union members elected to a position involving representation above the local level.)
