Common use of Work Made for Hire Clause in Contracts

Work Made for Hire. All Work shall constitute the exclusive property of TFC. All right, title and interest in and to said Work shall automatically and without further notice or action vest in TFC upon creation and shall be deemed to be a work for hire and made in the course of the services rendered pursuant to this Contract. To the extent that title to any such Work may not, by operation of law, vest in TFC, or such Work may not be considered a work made for hire, all rights, title and interest therein are hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assigned to TFC. TFC shall also have the right to obtain and to hold in its name any and all patents, copyrights, registrations or such other protection as may be appropriate to the subject matter, and any extensions and renewals thereof. CMR must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR for the services rendered under this Contract.

Work Made for Hire. All Work performed by CMR and its Subcontractors and consultants shall constitute the exclusive property of TFC. All right, title and interest in and to said Work shall automatically and without further notice or action vest in TFC upon creation and shall be deemed to be a work for hire and made in the course of the services rendered pursuant to this ContractAgreement. To the extent that title to any such Work may not, by operation of law, vest in TFC, or such Work may not be considered a work made for hire, all rights, title and interest therein are hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assigned to TFC. TFC shall also have the right to obtain and to hold in its name any and all patents, copyrights, registrations or such other protection as may be appropriate to the subject matter, and any extensions and renewals thereof. CMR must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR for the services rendered under this ContractAgreement.

Work Made for Hire. All Work Deliverables produced by A/E through the performance of Professional Services shall constitute the exclusive property of TFC. All right, title and interest in and to said Work Deliverables shall automatically and without further notice or action vest in TFC upon creation and shall be deemed to be a work for hire and made in the course of the services rendered pursuant to this ContractAgreement. To the extent that title to any such Work may not, by operation of law, vest in TFC, or such Work may not be considered a work made for hire, all rights, title and interest therein are hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assigned to TFC. TFC shall also have the right to obtain and to hold in its name any and all patents, copyrights, registrations or such other protection as may be appropriate to the subject matter, and any extensions and renewals thereof. CMR A/E must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR A/E for the services rendered under this ContractAgreement.

To the extent that title to any such Work may not, by operation of law, vest in TFC, or such Work may not be considered a work made for hire, all rights, title and interest therein are hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assigned to TFC. TFC shall also have the right to obtain and to hold in its name any and all patents, copyrights, registrations or such other protection as may be appropriate to the subject matter, and any extensions and renewals thereof. CMR DB must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR DB for the services rendered under this ContractAgreement.

Work Made for Hire. All Work Deliverables produced by PMF through the performance of PM Services shall constitute the exclusive property of TFC. All right, title and interest in and to said Work Deliverables shall automatically and without further notice or action vest in TFC upon creation and shall be deemed to be a work for hire and made in the course of the services rendered pursuant to this ContractAgreement. To the extent that title to any such Work may not, by operation of law, vest in TFC, or such Work may not be considered a work made for hire, all rights, title and interest therein are hereby irrevocably and unconditionally assigned to TFC. TFC shall also have the right to obtain and to hold in its name any and all patents, copyrights, registrations or such other protection as may be appropriate to the subject matter, and any extensions and renewals thereof. CMR PMF must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR PMF for the services rendered under this ContractAgreement.

CMR CxA must give TFC and/or the State of Texas, as well as any person designated by TFC and/or the State of Texas, all assistance reasonably necessary to effectuate the intent of this section and to perfect the rights and interests defined herein without any charge or expense to TFC beyond those amounts payable to CMR CxA for the services rendered under this ContractAgreement.
