Common use of Work Offsite or at Home Clause in Contracts

Work Offsite or at Home. a. Working offsite or at home is not considered the norm for employees, except when it is specified in the job description. However, from time to time, a supervisor may allow an employee to work off site or at home for limited periods of time. It is understood that the supervisor may cancel any such approval to work offsite or at home at any time. If a supervisor cancels such allowance, she/he will provide reasonable notice to the employee. b. A decision to deny a request to work at home or offsite or to adjust or cancel such allowance is not subject to the Grievance and Arbitration provisions of this Agreement.
