Common use of WORK UNIFORMS Clause in Contracts

WORK UNIFORMS. The District shall provide a uniform allowance, the allocation of which shall be subject to recommendations of the uniform committee, of $150 each year for each employee payable no later than November 5, annually or within two (2) weeks after employment is confirmed, whichever is later. Employees are required to wear the approved uniform. Employees that leave employment are required to turn in current year uniforms. Each employee is responsible to keep his/her uniform neat and clean. It is expected that the uniform allowance be used to purchase pants, shoes, and hairnets.
