Working as Undersheriff. Employees assigned by the Sheriff or his/her designee to a vacant Undersheriff position of eight (8) hours or more shall receive a differential of eight percent (8%) per hour of the employee’s base hourly rate in addition to their regular compensation. There is no presumption of assignment if an Undersheriff is absent.
