Common use of Workload Statements Clause in Contracts

Workload Statements. 1. For each semester of the regular academic year, each FTNTT Faculty member shall receive a statement of his/her specific workload assignment at least thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the semester. This statement shall include the number of credit hours assigned to classroom instruction and/or the number of credit hours assigned to other duties consistent with the FTNTT Faculty member’s track, including all workload assignments referenced in Section C.2. above. If any change is made to a FTNTT Faculty member’s assignment after the initial workload statement has been issued, the FTNTT Faculty member will receive an updated workload statement. Questions regarding the assignment may be addressed to the unit administrator who made the assignment. In case of dispute or request for special consideration, the FTNTT Faculty member may request review by the appropriate faculty advisory body which, following such review, will make an advisory recommendation to the unit administrator. 2. A FTNTT Faculty member who is offered a workload assignment outside the academic unit or regional campus of his/her appointment will get approval from his/her unit administrator or regional campus xxxx prior to accepting any such assignment(s) in another academic unit(s) or at another campus(es). In addition, any such assignment(s) will be included on the FTNTT Faculty member’s workload statement.
