Workshop and Equivalent Units a. Units may be earned for completing workshops not carrying college or university credit if the attendance is approved by the principal and the Superintendent. b. The number of units earned per workshop shall be based on one unit = 15 clock hours of course work. c. Units may be earned for non-academic activities. This provision applies for movement beyond Track C only. Up to two (2) units may be earned within a four (4) year period. d. The Unit Member shall state the number of units to be earned for the activity. The principal shall evaluate such requests on the number of hours expended, and the relevance of the activity to the Unit Member’s teaching responsibility.
