Written Application for Deferred Salary Leave Plan. An employee must make written application to participate in the Deferred Salary Leave Plan to the Director of Education, or designate. The application must include a schedule specifying the years involved and the proposed percentage of salary deferral each year. The employee must give a commitment, in writing, to continue to work for the Board for a period of one (1) year commencing from the employee’s date of return to work from the leave.
