Common use of Written Resignation of Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Written Resignation of Superintendent. The Superintendent may, at his option, resign from her employment by the Board upon giving written notice of such resignation to the President of the Board at least one hundred twenty (120) days in advance of the effective date of such resignation. Upon receipt of such notice, the Board, may, at its option, advance the effective date of such resignation to any date up to the date of receipt thereof, and the Superintendent’s employment and this Contract shall terminate and become null and void as of that date. The Superintendent shall be obligated, in any event, to fully perform his duties up to the effective date of such resignation.

The Superintendent shall be obligated, in any event, to fully perform his duties up to the effective date of such resignation. The Superintendent shall be obligated to fully perform the duties up to the effective date of such resignation, and to reasonably cooperate thereafter with the Board in the hiring of his successor and the familiarization of such successor with the files, records and performance of duties of the Superintendent’s office.

The Superintendent may, at his his/her option, upon the completion of the first thirty-six (36) months of employment hereunder, resign from his/her employment by the Board District upon giving written notice of such resignation to the President of the Board at least one hundred twenty sixty (12060) days in advance of the effective date of such resignation. Upon receipt of such notice, the Board, may, at its option, advance the effective date of such resignation to any date up to the date of receipt thereof, and the Superintendent’s employment and this Contract Agreement shall terminate and become null and void as of that datethe ultimate effective date of such resignation as determined by this paragraph. The Superintendent shall be obligated, in any event, to fully perform his his/her duties up to the effective date of such resignation.
