Director of Human Resources. The person designated by the County Administrator to serve as the Assistant County Administrator-Director of Human Resources.
Director of Human Resources. If no settlement is reached at Step 1, the Union representative may, within fifteen (15) working days of the Step 1 written grievance response, submit the Step 2 written grievance to the Director of Human Resources. A meeting will be scheduled within five (5) working days of receipt of the Step 2 grievance. These parties, within ten (10) working days of the Step 2 meeting, shall submit a written statement as to the disposition of the grievance.
Director of Human Resources. Any extra-help employee or any official of the Union may notify the Director of Human Resources in writing that a grievance exists, stating the particulars of the grievance and, if possible, the nature of the determination desired. Such notification must be filed (as determined by postmark) within twenty-eight (28) calendar days from the date of the employee's knowledge of an alleged grievance. The Director of Human Resources or their designated representative shall have twenty-eight (28) calendar days in which to investigate the merits of the complaint, to meet with the complainant and, if the complainant is not the Union, to meet also with the officials of the Union, and to settle the grievance. The period of time to investigate and settle the grievance may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties. No grievance may be processed under paragraph (3) below which has not first been filed and investigated in accordance with this paragraph (2).
Director of Human Resources. If a party or witness to an incident reported under this policy is the Director of Human Resources, the Administrative Director shall designate another member of the Court staff to perform the duties of the Director of Human Resources as required by this policy.
Director of Human Resources. Refers to the incumbent in the Director of Human Resources position. It also includes any person who has been designated as acting Director of Human Resources, employees acting for the Director during the absence of the Director of Human Resources, and/or employees delegated authority approval on a regular basis by the Director of Human Resources.
Director of Human Resources. If the grievance remains unsettled at Step Two, the Union may advance the written grievance to the Director of Human Resources within ten (10) business days of the response in Step Two or when such response was due. The Director of Human Resources or designee shall schedule a conference within ten (10) business days of receipt of the grievance to attempt to adjust the matter. The Director of Human Resources or designee shall submit a written response within ten (10) business days of the conference. If the conference is not scheduled, the Director of Human Resources or designee shall respond to the grievance in writing within ten (10) business days of receipt of the appeal.
Director of Human Resources. The grievance, along with all correspondence, shall be submitted to the HR Director. The HR Director or his/her representative shall investigate the grievance and, if necessary, schedule a grievance meeting within ten (10) workdays after receipt of the grievance by the HR Director. Management and the Council may not have more than four (4) representatives at the grievance meeting. Both the Council and Management have the right to call such witnesses as are necessary in the investigation of the grievance. The HR Director or his/her designee shall reply to the Council and the grievant in writing within seven (7) workdays after completion of the grievance meeting or receipt of the grievance, whichever is later. If the answer of the HR Director is not satisfactory to the Council, the grievance may be appealed to the arbitration procedure (Step 4). If the written notice of intent to file under the arbitration procedure is not received by the HR Director within ten (10) days after receipt of his/her reply to the grievance, it shall be considered to be satisfactorily resolved.
Director of Human Resources. 44 45 The Director of Human Resources will manage all aspects of the BTSA/PAR Programs. 46 This includes overseeing the work of each Consulting Teacher and Support Provider. The 1 Director of Human Resources will monitor the performance of each Consulting Teacher and 2 report to the Committee such information each semester. A copy of the written report and all 3 written documentation relied upon by the Director of Human Resources in making said 4 report, will be submitted to the Consulting Teacher and he or she will have the right to 5 submit a written response to such report. The contents of said reports shall be held by the 6 Committee and may not be used in any dismissal or disciplinary proceeding against the 7 Consulting Teacher. The Director of Human Resources will also, along with the Committee 8 and District, develop appropriate staff development programs for Participating Teachers as 9 well as teachers not participating in the PAR Program.
Director of Human Resources. If not resolved in Step B, the employee or the Union may submit the grievance to the Director of Human Resources of the City. If appealed, the grievance and the reasons that the department head's answer is not acceptable shall be in writing and submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the answer in the previous step. The Director of Human Resources shall conduct a meeting involving all parties. The Director of Human Resources shall give his written answer within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the submission of the appeal. STEP D - Arbitration. If the decision of the Director of Human Resources is not satisfactory, an appeal may be made only by the Union to Step D-1 (Arbitration).Any written appeal to arbitration shall be filed within twenty-one
