Common use of Written - Step 4 Clause in Contracts

Written - Step 4. If the decision of the C.A.O. is unsatisfactory to the griever, the Bargaining Committee may request a hearing with General Committee of Council “in camera”. The said request to meet with Council shall be filed within seven (7) days after the C.A.O.’s decision is received. The General Committee of Council “in camera” shall hear the appeal within thirty (30) calendar days. The General Committee of Council shall give a written decision within seven (7) days of the hearing date.
