If Purchaser must run equipment on bridge surface, then rubber tired equipment or other methods, approved in writing by Contract Administrator, must be used. If tracked equipment is used on bridge surfaces, Purchaser shall immediately cease all road construction and hauling operations. Purchaser shall remove any dirt, rock, or other material tracked or spilled on the bridge surface and have surface evaluated by the District Engineer or their designee for any damage caused by transporting equipment. Any damage to the surface will be repaired, at the Purchaser’s expense, as directed by the Contract Administrator.
