3.8. Exemption from Submission of EMD Following bidders shall be exempt from submission of EMD:
a) Tender NoState & Central Government of India departments, Public Sector Undertakings.
b) Firms registered with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL). ii) Item Description iii) Due date and time iv) Name (Exemption will apply only to items/services if permanently registered under service group no. 9990001 or 9990003). Other vendors which are registered under different MDL group have to submit EMD. To qualify for EMD exemption, firms should necessarily submit VALID copy of the TendererRegistration Certificate issued by MDL, for the items for which the offer being submitted, in Part-I offer/bid.
