Xxxxxxxx Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act. (Public Law 93-288 as amended). In the event of a presidential disaster declaration this Act authorizes Federal Agencies to provide an orderly and continuing means of assistance to state and local governments in carrying out their responsibilities to alleviate the suffering and damage which results from such disasters.
