Common use of Your Rent Clause in Contracts

Your Rent. 2.1 Your rent at the start of your tenancy is shown on page 3 of this agreement. 2.2 When to pay your rent: (a) You must pay your rent and all other charges fortnightly in advance and not in arrears; (b) You must pay the first two weeks in advance at the time of the signing of this agreement; (c) You may be liable to pay interest chargeable on unpaid rent. Interest chargeable will be at 2% above Bank of England Base Rate at the time in question.
