This letter amends the agreement (the “Agreement”) entered into between the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Fraud Section (“Fraud Section”) and UBS AG (“UBS”) on December 18, 2012, concerning UBS’s submissions of benchmark interest rates, including the London InterBank Offered Rate (known as LIBOR), the Euro Interbank Offered Rate (known as EURIBOR), and the Tokyo InterBank Offered Rate (known as TIBOR), as described in Appendix A to the Agreement.
