This Agreement is entered into on this first day of October 2019 by and between JEA and the JEA Professional Employees’ Association, hereinafter referred to as the “PEA”. It is the intent and purpose of the parties hereto to promote and improve the efficient administration of JEA and the well-being of employees within the meaning of collective bargaining laws and regulations; to establish a basic understanding relative to discussion and adjustment of matters of mutual interest at JEA; to implement mutually agreed upon rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment; and to provide a procedure for the adjustment of grievances so as to promote orderly and peaceful relations between JEA, its employees, and the PEA.
