COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTCollective Bargaining Agreement • July 12th, 2024
This Agreement is entered into by and between the School Committee of the Town of Scituate hereafter referred to as the "Committee," and the Scituate Educational Support Personnel NEARI, hereafter referred to as the "Union." For purposes set forth herein and in compliance with the RI Education Accountability Act, particularly, R.I. Gen. Laws § 16-2-9; § 16-2-11; and, § 16-2-11.1, the Superintendent of Schools, or his or her designee (including School Principals) shall have primary responsibility for management of these Union personnel and the respective custodial operations, notwithstanding the role of the Committee to enter into collective bargaining agreements pursuant to Title 16 of the Rhode Island General Laws.
