WHEREAS, the City of Moberly, Missouri (hereinafter the “City”) and the Southeastern Randolph Fire Protection District (hereinafter the “District”) have deemed it critical to the safety of citizens and property in their respective jurisdictions to enter into this automatic aid agreement (the “Agreement”) to provide fire personnel, equipment, and materials beyond their territorial limits through mutual cooperation as set forth herein; and
