This agreement is made between the Board of Montgomery County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as 'County' or 'Management' and the Ohio Council #8 and Local #101, American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, hereinafter referred to as the 'Union' for the purpose of achieving better understanding between the parties, to achieve and maintain a satisfactory and stabilized employer/employee relationship and to promote improved work performance; to attract and retain qualified employees; to insure the right of every employee to fair and impartial treatment; provide for the peaceful and equitable adjustment of differences which may arise.
