DISCUSSION: Brevard Public Schools was awarded the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant on October 1, 2013. The original grant application included the purchase of student and adult pedometers, journals, and planners from Commit2BFit!. The attached agreement includes the purchase of these pedometers, journals and planners. In addition, this agreement provides six (6) hours of teacher training at no charge. The purpose of this grant is to initiate, expand, or enhance physical education programs, including after-school programs, for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Grant recipients must implement programs that help students make progress toward meeting state standards. The funding for this agreement is provided by the Carol M. White PEP grant. CONTRACT TERM: The initial contract term shall commence December 11, 2013 and continue until October 1, 2016.
