14b. The Employer agrees to grant the neces­ sary time off without discrimination or loss of seniority rights and without pay to any em­ ployee designated by the Union to attend a labor convention or serve in any other capacity on other official Union business, provided the Employer is given at least one (1) week’s notice in writing from the Union, specifying the length of time off, but in no case shall the length of time exceed one (1) year.
