Following an extensive review of capacity building services and the strategic and representational role of Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), along with consultation with a wide range of Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) members, local stakeholders and statutory partners, SCVO has completed and launched a new 3 year Business and Strategic Plan (Business Plan) from April 2008. Building on existing good practice and valued services, this steers a clearer pathway towards better meeting present and developing organisational needs of VCS organisations and supporting both statutory partners and VCS members in constructive engagement in working together to serve Sandwell’s communities.
