This Compact sets out the agreement between the London Borough of Sutton and the Department for Education and Skills to work in partnership to achieve better educational outcomes for children and young people. It identifies priorities for action from January 2004 until March 2005. The Compact has been drawn up to reflect the Statement of Intent agreed and signed by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills and the Chair of the Local Government Association.
