AGREEMENT TO ACCEPT COMPENSATORY TIME OFF IN LIEU OF OVERTIME PAYCompensatory Time Off Agreement • May 19th, 2008
In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and Alamance-Burlington School System Policy 5430, non-exempt employees of the Alamance-Burlington School System may, with approval of their supervisors, accrue compensatory time off of work for overtime hours worked. I voluntarily agree to accept compensatory time off in lieu of overtime pay for overtime hours worked. I understand that I will accrue compensatory time at the rate of one and one-half hours for each overtime hour worked during a workweek. I understand that this compensatory time will not be counted as time worked for purposes of computing overtime or additional compensatory time.
