On June 10, 2005, Ralph F. Marchese of the Marchese Company, Inc., on behalf of the California Pacific Medical Center (hereinafter referred to variously as "CPMC" and “Project Sponsor”), submitted an Environmental Evaluation Application ("EEA") with the Planning Department (“Department”), Case No. 2005.0555E1. The Department issued a Notice of Preparation of Environmental Review on July 1, 2006, to owners of properties within 300 feet, adjacent tenants, and other potentially interested parties. However, as planning for the CPMC Long Range Development Plan ("LRDP") continued, additional components were added to the LRDP that resulted in a reissuance of a revised NOP for a 30-day public review period on May 27, 2009.
