Contact lens fitting is an additional fee to the comprehensive eye exam which includes a glasses prescription. The contact lens fitting includes determining the proper lens type and fit for your eyes based on results of the topography (curvature map of the cornea), determining the correct contact lens prescription (which may be different from glasses), checking vision with the lens and the fit (the centration, movement, and rotation of the lens). Additionally, and most importantly, you will be assessed and monitored for health issues associated with contact lens wear, and any follow-up appointments for 60 days.
