In accordance with S8617B/A10832 which amends New York State Labor Law section 27-a and 27-c, the City of Peekskill developed a Health Emergency Plan which went into effect on April 12, 2021. As part of executing the City’s Health Emergency Plan, the City follows a symptom-based and/or COVID-19 test based strategy to isolate workers who are infected or potentially infected to reduce the risk of infecting other workers.
