This contract is entered into, by and between the Parkston Educational Secretaries Association (PESA), an affiliate of the South Dakota Education Association (SDEA) and the National Education Association (NEA), hereinafter called the "Association," as the sole and exclusive representative of all administrative assistants/secretaries in the Parkston School District and the Board of Education of the Parkston School District, hereinafter called the "Board", and its successor boards. The Board has a statutory obligation pursuant to SDCL 3-18 to negotiate with the Association as the sole and exclusive representative of its administrative assistants/secretaries. This agreement shall be effective from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, unless otherwise specified.
