Efforts by China and Taiwan to improve cross-strait relations have begun by building economic cooperation between the two countries. This cooperation is called the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA). This agreement considers the economic conditions of the two countries which gradually reduce or eliminate trade and investment barriers to each other. Both countries are committed to creating a fair trade and investment environment. For this reason, this research analyzes what the interests of China and Taiwan are in the ECFA framework, the benefits obtained by China and Taiwan, as well as an analysis of China's prospects and Taiwan relations within the framework of the ECFA agreement. Theories used in this research are International Cooperation, International Agreement, Soft Power theory and National Interest theory. This research used qualitative research methods. The research found that China-Taiwan relations after the EFCA agreement succeeded in reducing political tensions
