This AGREEMENT is entered into this day of , 1996, between the Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Lansing, hereinafter referred to as the "Employer", and the Police Officers Labor Council, Non-Supervisory Unit, hereinafter referred to as the "Union". It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to assure sound and mutually beneficial working and economic relationships between the parties hereto and provide an orderly and peaceful means of resolving any misunderstanding or differences which may arise and to set forth herein the basic Agreement between the parties concerning rates of pay, wages and hours of employment and other conditions of employment.
