Newly hired and newly promoted employees will receive weekly evaluations during the probationary period and will be provided with copies of the evaluations. In the event that a reference requested within the first four months of employment is received thereafter and is unsatisfactory, such employee may be discharged upon the receipt of such unsatisfactory reference without the right to bring a grievance. Such an employee or employees may be represented by the Union in all matters except discharge for failure to qualify for the assigned job.
