Background: For many years the Village of Downers Grove has co-sponsored a farmers’ market with the Indian Boundary YMCA. Again this year the YMCA is seeking co-sponsorship of the Farmers’ Market to commence on June 22 and run for 17 consecutive Saturdays. In reviewing this request with Mr. John Schrage, YMCA representative, starting on June 22nd is two weeks earlier than past seasons and is requested by the YMCA to meet concerns raised by the growers who will have products available by then and desire to start earlier. Another issue raised by the June 22nd start is the conflict with Heritage Festival, which this year kicks off on Friday,
