Impacts from Micrometeoroid and Orbital debris (MMOD) represent one of the most significant risks for spacecraft in Low Earth Orbit and Sierra Space, as provider of the world’s first commercial private Space Station, wants to ensure their spacecraft are adequately protected. These spacecraft include an expandable, inflatable habitat, as well as traditional hard metallic capsule style vehicles.
