This agreement is to ensure that the Chromebook issued by the district will be used in an appropriate manner and kept in its original condition, except for normal wear and tear. If the device, its case, power adapter and cord, and all other accessories are not returned in their original condition, except for normal wear and tear, the parent or legal guardian of the student will be financially responsible for any and all costs for repair or replacement of the device. If the district determines that the student did not use reasonable care in the use of the device, the parent or legal guardian of the student will be financially responsible for any and all costs for repair or replacement of the device. The district reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover any debts that may result from required repair or replacement of the device. The Chromebook, case, power adapter and power cord, asset labels, and all other accessories are the property of the district.
