COMPLIANCE SERVICESCnr Queen Street and Broughton Street (PO Box 57) Campbelltown 2560 Phone (02) 4645 4604 –Fax (02) 4645 4111 DX5114 Agreement between Campbelltown City Council and Organisations Wishing to Rescue Dogs andCats (Rescue Organisations) from Council's Animal Care Facility In order to ensure efficient coordination and a clear understanding of the roles performed by Campbelltown City Council and the Rescue Organisation in re-homing of dogs and cats from Council's Animal Care Facility the following sets out the responsibilities of each party: Council will: 1. Inform the Rescue Organisation if suitable dogs or cats are available for re-homing. 2. Only supply dogs or cats for re-homing under the following circumstances: o The dog or cat is considered to be suitable for re-homing o The dog or cat is owned by Campbelltown City Council due to it being held beyond the period prescribed under the Companion Animals Act 1998 and Companion Animals Regulation 2008 or has been surrender
