Supervision/appraisal provides an opportunity to: Share any concerns regarding our residents care. Review your personal development and training. Review of any changes to your personal circumstances. Feedback on the contribution you have been making in your role. Discuss any support you feel you may need. Responsibilities: Both employee and supervisor have a responsibility to attend agreed sessions The employee will read the home’s policy on staff supervision and appraisal, which is within the Employee Handbook. Record keeping: A permanent record of the supervision/appraisal discussion and date held will be maintained on our staff records The employee may request a copy of the supervision/appraisal record Confidentiality: Everything discussed will be treated with confidence unless it is something that could be detrimental to residents or other members of staff or may impact on the organisation’s
