AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEENAgreement • June 19th, 2015
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and the Michigan Green Industry Association (MGIA) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful Michigan workplaces. To that end, MIOSHA and MGIA hereby form an Alliance to provide MGIA’s members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers, particularly by reducing and preventing workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses, and to understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSH Act). In developing this Alliance, MIOSHA and MGIA recognize that MIOSHA’s Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division is an integral part of this effort.
