This plan acknowledges the staff and employer commitment to engagement and cooperation with reform processes to achieve a better health service, as set out in the Public Service Agreement (PSA). This is based on the principle that consultation will apply at national and local level as appropriate, in line with the PSA timeframes, on the specific details of how reform measures within the action plan will be implemented, where they impact directly on staff. As per the PSA, normal industrial relations mechanisms are available for any issues to be resolved.
