Contract Type FiledNovember 19th, 2012Purpose and Scope of Alliance: Purpose: The purpose of this MIOSHA Alliance is to partner with HCAM and the Michigan Center for Assisted Living (MCAL), a division of HCAM, to establish a collaborative relationship to work together to reduce and prevent injuries and illnesses in skilled nursing centers and assisted living facilities throughout Michigan. The alliance will promote dialogue, develop resources, promote access to training, and share information with workers providing care and services to those in long term care. Target Audience: HCAM/MCAL member facility employers and employees. These include, but are not limited to, any owners, administrators, directors of nursing, nurse managers, social workers, activities and dietary professionals, direct care workers, and others engaged in providing care and services to long term care residents.
