This “Agreement” dated March 1, 2007, by and between the City of Vineland, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, hereinafter referred to as the “City” and Local Union 210, Unit-2 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, affiliated with the AFL/CIO, hereinafter referred to as the “Union”. This Agreement is entered into in order to promote and ensure harmonious relations, cooperation and understanding between the City and its employees; to prescribe the rights and duties of the City and its employees; and to provide for the resolution of legitimate grievances; all in order that the public service shall be expedited and effectuated in the best interest of the people of the City of Vineland and its employees. It is the intent of the parties that this Agreement be construed in harmony with the laws of the State of New Jersey which govern public employment.
