The Multimedia Lab of Chinese University of Hong Kong has constructed the Comprehensive Cars database (referred to as CompCars in the following text). The aims of the CompCars database include (1) providing a comprehensive platform to validate the effectiveness of a wide range of computer vision algorithms; (2) facilitating a wide range of novel research topics related to “cars”; (3) enabling cross modality research in two scenarios. Therefore, the CompCars database is now made available for research purpose only on a case-by-case basis only. The Multimedia Lab is serving as the technical agent for distribution of the database. Any researcher who requests the CompCars database must sign this agreement and thereby agree to obey the restrictions listed in this document. Failure to observe the restrictions will result in access being denied for the request of the future version of the CompCars database and being subject to civil damages in the case of publication of images that have not b
