Contract Type FiledMay 13th, 2013quality patient care, and that the matter should be investigated promptly, the investigatory meeting need not be delayed if an Association Representative is on‐duty or readily available, even if the Registered Nurse prefers to be accompanied by a different Association Representative. Under these circumstances, if an Association Representative is not on‐duty or readily available, upon being contacted by the Hospital, the Union will make a Union Representative available as soon as possible so that the investigatory meeting can be conducted. Further, nothing in this Article shall interfere with the ability of the Hospital to conduct an alcohol and/or drug screening test, and to relieve the affected Registered Nurse of all job responsibilities until such time an investigatory meeting is conducted.
