In consideration of the community of interest between the Union and the Employer the intent of the parties to this Agreement is understood to be to establish satisfactory formal relations between Employees and Management and, consistent with the rights of both parties under this Agreement, to provide for the orderly collective bargaining of terms and the prompt and equitable disposition of griev- ances.
