This Agreement is entered into by and between: County of Mason and the Sheriff of Mason County, a body politic, hereinafter referred to as the EMPLOYER, and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 221 and the Illinois F.O.P. Labor Council, hereinafter referred to as the UNION, after engaging in collective bargaining pursuant to the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act (5 ILCS 315/1, et. seq.) for the purposes of promoting harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union, the establishment of an equitable and peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences, and the establishment of rates of pay, hours of work and other conditions of employment.
