This Master Agreement shall be effective the first dayof January 2020, byand between The Connecticut Cleaning Contractors Association and each and every Hartford and Connecticut Cleaning Contractor who is signatory to this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Employer”) and Local 32BJ, Service Employees International Union (hereinafter referred to as the “Union”). The Union and the Employer expressly agree and understand that the management rights and obligations created by this Collective Bargaining Agreement attach exclusively to the individual signatory contractors and that The Hartford Cleaning Contractors Association is an entity existing solely for the purpose of bargaining this Agreement, the terms of which bind the Employers that designated the Association as their collective bargaining representative.
