This report is the final (Stage 5) report on the work undertaken by Skills for Care & Development as part of their Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) in Scotland. Skills for Care & Development (SfCD) was licensed in February 2005 and is the Sector Skills Council for social care, early years, children and young people’s workforce. It is a UK partnership of five bodies comprising the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)1, Care Council for Wales (CCW), Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC), Skills for Care and the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC); the latter two both in England.
