Agreement of Sale and Purchase for the Coral Springs AcreageExecutive Summary • October 24th, 2022
Contract Type FiledOctober 24th, 2022Coral Springs High School Acreage is a 2.864-acre vacant site that is located south of Sample Road, and across from the Coral Spring High School (CSHS) campus, see Attachment 1. In 1959, The School Board of Broward County, Florida (SBBC) purchased the CSHS 40-acre campus, at a cost of $36,359.00. Thereafter, in 1969, and at the request of Broward County, the SBBC dedicated 2.9-acres from the southern portion of the 40- acre CSHS site, towards the then construction of Sample Road. Subsequently, due the eventual road alignment for Sample Road, this dedication left the 2.864-acre irregular shaped parcel on the south side of Sample Road; hence the CSHSA site.
