The Board of Education of District 26, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," and the Cary Education Association, hereinafter referred to as the "Association," recognize that the aim of public schools is to provide the best education possible for children and youth in the District. Attainment of these educational objectives is a joint responsibility of the Board of Education, the administrative and supervisory staff, and the professional teaching personnel. T o this end, the parties shall participate in good faith negotiations.
